About Thrive Allied Health

Thrive Allied Health is a small, dynamic allied health practice based in the Gympie region of Queensland. We provide a range of high-quality occupational therapy services.

We are a registered NDIS provider. We provide occupational therapy services to participants including specialised assistive technology assessments and complex home modifications.

We provide occupational therapy services to an approved list of Home Care Package providers. 

We provide occupational therapy services to Department of Veterans Affairs Gold and White Card holders.

Our services are designed to offer you full choice and control over your therapy.

We work in a person-centred way, which means we discuss with you what you would like to achieve. This helps establish the functional goals that are important to you. We build on your strengths and abilities and help you develop the areas in which you would like improvement.

 

We work alongside you to achieve your goals and regularly review progress with you, your family and your support team.

You choose what you would like assistance with, and we determine together the best way to achieve your functional goals.

Meet Our Team

Fiona Neagle

Fiona Neagle

Fiona is a great communicator, relationship builder and networker. Her passion lies with assisting people with disability and older Australians achieve inclusive and connected lives through her occupational therapy practice, access consultancy, project work and range of volunteer roles.

She is the proud owner of Thrive Allied Health which was set up to provide services to assist people gain purpose, thrive and flourish in their daily lives. Fiona also works to create environments that are welcoming, inclusive and accessible for all community members. Fiona has worked for the past 32 years in health care, aged care and disability  as a clinician and service manager.

She collaborates with community organisations, businesses and governments at all levels to build the capacity of rural communities to be welcoming and inclusive. Fiona holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Occupational Therapy and a Master of Health Administration.

She is a founding member of Gympie’s Access Advisory Committee and a life member of Cooloola Human Services Network. She is a member of Occupational Therapy Australia and an associate member of the Association of Consultants in Access Australia.

Outside work, Fiona enjoys gardening, reading, lunches out with friends and spending time in nature.  

Ashleigh Dodt

Ashleigh Moessinger

Ashleigh graduated from the University of the Sunshine Coast in 2014 with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Honours). Since then she has worked as an occupational therapist in disability, paediatrics, aged care and rehabilitation.

Ashleigh’s passion is to support people to improve their ability to participate in their daily lives. She loves to solve complex problems with specialised equipment and home modifications. She also enjoys finding solutions for people to access specialised assistive technology.

When she is not at work, Ashleigh likes spending time with family and friends camping and exploring.

Fiona Neagle

Bianca Kidd

Bianca is an occupational therapist with a passion for working with clients and their families to achieve meaningful, person-centred goals.

Bianca graduated from the University of the Sunshine Coast in 2014 with a Bachelor of Ocupational Therapy (Honours). She has a broad range of experience in inpatient and outpatient hospital settings, residential aged care and community health throughout South East Queensland.

Bianca leads her practice with person-centred care, compassion, respect and dignity. She is passionate about clients being able to access the best sevices for their needs. Bianca enjoys working collaboratively with the team at Thrive Allied Health as well as a wide range of community stakeholders to ensure the best outcome for her clients. 

Outside work, Bianca enjoys bushwalking, yoga, supporting local cafes and spending time with her young family.   

Fiona Neagle

Naomi Lane

Naomi joined the team as Administration Officer in 2022. She is excited about learning and expanding her knowledge and skills in the allied health sector and finds it an absolute privilege being part of a team that supports individuals to reach their full potential.

Naomi has worked in administration for over 15 years and holds qualifications in business, administration and finance. She previously worked in hospitality and considers herself a bit of a foodie who loves to cook.

Outside work, Naomi enjoys spending time with family and firends, cooking, camping and exploring nature.
